Jozzef
Jozzef הוא פרויקט הסולו של יוסי שטרית, סולן להקת הרוק האלטרנטיבי Side ומפיק מוזיקלי מוערך. בפרויקט פועל שטרית במידה רבה כ־One Man Band, כשהוא מנגן בעצמו על מרבית הכלים ויוצר עולם מוזיקלי אישי, עשיר ושכבתי, הנע בין אינדי־פולק, פולק־פופ וסופט־רוק.
המוזיקה של Jozzef שואבת השראה מיוצרים כמו ניק דרייק, בק וסינגר־סונגרייטרים נוספים, ונעה בחופשיות בין רגעים שקטים ועדינים לבין התפרצויות מלאות חיים ועוצמה רגשית. מלודיות עשירות, טקסטים אישיים ועיבודים מוקפדים מתחברים ליצירה אינטימית ורחבת יריעה, הכוללת לעיתים גם עיבודי מיתרים מהפנטים.
אלבום הבכורה, Jozzef, יצא בשנת 2019. כיום עובד שטרית על אלבום שני במסגרת הפרויקט, וממשיך בו את החיפוש אחר החיבור שבין כתיבה אישית ומפגש בין החום של המוזיקה האקוסטית לבין סאונד אלטרנטיבי עכשווי.

Jozzef is the solo project of Yossi Shitrit, frontman of the alternative rock band Side and a music producer. Working largely as a one-man studio project, Shitrit plays most of the instruments himself, creating an intimate and richly layered musical world that moves between indie folk, folk-pop and soft rock.
Drawing inspiration from artists such as Nick Drake, Beck and other contemporary singer-songwriters, Jozzef’s music moves freely between quiet, delicate moments and more vibrant, emotionally charged passages. Rich melodies, introspective lyrics and carefully crafted arrangements come together in songs that are both personal and expansive, at times featuring evocative string arrangements.
Jozzef’s self-titled debut album was released in 2019. The project is currently in the process of creating a second album, continuing Shitrit’s exploration of intimate songwriting and the space between acoustic warmth and modern alternative music.
